About the role
We are looking for motivated housekeepers to join our team in Pretoria on an urgent basis. No prior experience is required, but a Grade 12 education and a strong work ethic are essential. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in guest areas and support spaces.
Key responsibilities
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies using vacuums or shampooers.
- Empty wastebaskets, ashtrays and transport trash to disposal areas.
- Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors with brooms and mops.
- Dust and polish furniture, equipment and silver accessories.
- Replenish supplies such as linens, glasses and bathroom items.
- Sort, wash, iron and fold clothing and linens.
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork, applying wax or polish as needed.
- Deliver items like televisions, ironing boards and baby cribs to guest rooms.
- Disinfect equipment using germicides or steam sterilizers.
Required profile
- Minimum of Grade 12 education.
- Hard‑working attitude.
- Previous housekeeping experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
