Universal Advisor - FNB Point of Presence

About the role

FNB is hiring a Universal Advisor for its Points of Presence (POP) team in Port Shepstone. The role delivers a positive, compliant customer experience in a high-volume branch environment, helping walk-in and existing customers with banking solutions and guiding them toward digital and self-service channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide helpful, sensitive service and product solutions, directing customers to the right e-channels and self-service options while following policy and process.
• Deliver compliant sales and service solutions to walk-in and existing customers, ensuring interactions are ethical and aligned with FAIS, FICA, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles and FNB governance.
• Identify customer needs and sell, cross-sell and educate customers on the right banking platforms, migrating them to digital and self-service channels.
• Fulfil transactions above set benchmarks and manage leads, referrals and follow-ups within agreed turnaround times.
• Maintain accurate customer records and stay informed on products, systems and industry developments.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4; preferred: NQF Level 5 certificate in banking, business administration, customer service or a related field recognised by FAIS.
• 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing, service delivery or client support roles within financial services.
• Not an unrehabilitated insolvent.
• Strong understanding of FAIS, TCF principles and regulatory compliance, proven ability to meet sales, service and customer experience targets.
