Turbine Bladder Technician

About the role

Oxxa Solutions is seeking a Turbine Bladder Technician to join its maintenance team in Johannesburg. The role focuses on installing, inspecting, maintaining and replacing turbine bladder components to ensure optimal turbine performance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, remove and fit bladder assemblies according to OEM procedures.
• Perform pressure testing, leak checks and functional testing during maintenance and outage activities.
• Identify wear, damage and defects that could affect turbine performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Support turbine overhauls, shutdowns and repair projects while minimizing equipment downtime.
• Collaborate closely with turbine engineers, technicians, artisans and field teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with turbine bladder systems or similar industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of OEM procedures, safety standards and quality requirements.
• Ability to work safely with specialised tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce clear documentation.
