Transport Administrator – Devon Depot

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Transport Administrator to join our Devon depot team. You will work closely with drivers and the existing transport team to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate handling of consignments.
Key responsibilities
- Input customer consignments accurately into the system.
- Maintain customer service relations and address queries.
- Allocate driver paperwork and manage documentation.
- De‑brief drivers, process delivery/collection notes and related paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality processes.
Required profile
- Previous experience in the transport industry.
- Computer literate with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Planning experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, busy environment.
