Transformation Manager – BBBEE & Employment Equity

About the role

The Transformation Manager will lead SAP South Africa’s transformation agenda, focusing on Broad‑Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) and Employment Equity. The role ensures legislative compliance, drives operational change and delivers measurable business impact across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with BBBEE and Employment Equity legislation and monitor related regulatory changes.
• Manage annual BBBEE certification audits, Employment Equity submissions and Department of Labour audit activities.
• Develop, coordinate and execute transformation action plans, including preferential procurement strategies and supplier BBBEE improvement.
• Track and report on BBBEE scorecard, employment equity initiatives and skills‑development programmes, providing data integrity and stakeholder updates.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a transformation‑focused role, particularly within HR, employment relations and South African labour law.
• Deep knowledge of BBBEE frameworks, dti Codes of Good Practice, sector charters and verification processes.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership, negotiate and drive organisational change.
• Relevant business degree; an Honours degree is preferred.
