Transfer Pricing Consultant/Senior Consultant

About the role

BDO Cape Town is looking for a qualified Transfer Pricing Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its Transfer Pricing and International Tax team. The role involves providing advisory services, preparing compliance documentation, and supporting due diligence engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Transfer Pricing team with advisory services such as setting strategies and advising multinational companies on tax implications.
• Prepare compliance documentation including country‑by‑country reporting, master files and local files.
• Support accrual reviews and due diligence engagements for the Transfer Pricing and International Tax team.
• Draft proposals for client engagements and develop creative strategies using new technologies.

Required profile

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in economics, law (M.Com, LLM Tax Law) or related field; CA(SA) or TA(SA) is a bonus but not required.
• Entry‑level candidates for Consultant role; 1‑3 years of Transfer Pricing experience for Senior Consultant role.
• Excellent communication, writing, analytical and research skills; ability to build relationships and work under pressure.
• Openness to new technologies, innovation mindset, ethical behaviour and transparency.
