Training Officer – Core Systems & Pharmacy Support

About the role

The Training Officer will support the implementation of the Core Systems Replacement project within Mediclinic hospitals. The role focuses on transferring knowledge, building user competence, and creating learning materials for pharmacy theatre dispensary and specialised product processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse learning and development needs related to new systems and processes.
• Design, develop and maintain learning support material, ensuring clear formatting and styling.
• Facilitate training sessions and assess learning outcomes for pharmacy staff.
• Provide ongoing system and process support during and after implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• 3–5 years experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, specifically as a Pharmacy Theatre Dispensary Controller or Specialised Product Controller.
• Experience developing and delivering training material.
• Familiarity with relevant business process policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to format and style learning support documentation.
