Training & Capacity Building Lead

About the role

The Training & Capacity Building Lead will design and execute a comprehensive learning strategy that elevates the capabilities of Indsafri’s workforce, suppliers and public‑sector partners. Working in a hybrid setting, you will partner with internal and India‑based product teams to ensure training aligns with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic training plan linked to business objectives.
• Conduct Training Needs Analyses (TNA) to identify skill gaps.
• Design and run a Train‑the‑Trainer (ToT) programme to build internal training capacity.
• Create orientation programmes for suppliers and external partners.
• Manage role‑based learning plans and produce high‑quality training materials, user manuals and facilitator guides.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions, including multilingual delivery.
• Lead training initiatives for Supply Chain Management (SCM) practitioners and SMME onboarding.
• Support public‑sector digital adoption through targeted learning programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience designing and delivering training programmes.
• Proven expertise in Training Needs Analysis and Train‑the‑Trainer methodologies.
• Experience developing role‑based learning strategies and workshop facilitation.
• Background in SCM practitioner training and public‑sector digital adoption.
• South African citizenship and ability to start within 30 days.
