Trainee Planner – Beauty & Fragrance (Retail)

About the role
Our client, a leading retail brand in the beauty and fragrance sector, is looking for a motivated Trainee Planner to join the team in Umhlanga. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in financial planning, stock management and product performance optimisation within a fast‑moving retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct business analysis to support product range decisions.
- Prepare sales forecasts and monitor stock levels.
- Manage margins and markdowns to protect profitability.
- Assist in developing and tracking financial plans for beauty and fragrance lines.
- Provide strategic input on product assortment and merchandising performance.
Required profile
- Degree in Finance, Planning, Merchandising or a related field.
- 1‑2 years of experience, preferably in the beauty sector.
- Passion for beauty and fragrance products.
- Own transport and a valid driver’s licence are advantageous.
