About the role
JAM is seeking an energetic Trainee Manager to join its team in Kimberley. This entry‑level management position offers the chance to develop leadership abilities while supporting store operations in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Conduct regular stock takes and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Support the delivery of excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
- Help drive sales targets and monitor performance metrics.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
- Proven track record of accurate stock taking.
- Strong leadership and results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
