Trainee Branch Manager – Krugersdorp

About the role

The Trainee Branch Manager will oversee and support branch management to achieve excellent sales performance within a Lewis store in Krugersdorp. The role combines responsibility for daily operations, customer service, stock control and credit management while driving profitability and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, lead, motivate, develop, and empower branch employees to build a stable, high‑performing team.
• Drive sales targets and manage operational efficiencies to maintain a healthy and profitable business.
• Ensure excellent customer service through active involvement in customer interactions.
• Maintain and improve customer service, sales performance, stock efficiencies, and manage credit‑related business risk.
• Minimise stock loss through compliance with security, stock, and cash handling procedures.
• Guide, manage, and verify branch operations to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory legislation.
• Manage people‑related activities including training, mentoring, coaching, and staff management.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• Business‑related tertiary qualification (advantageous).
• Minimum of 3 years retail sales and/or management experience, preferably within bedding retail.
• Computer literate.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Proven management ability to co‑manage, lead, motivate, develop, and empower branch staff.
• Must reside in Krugersdorp or the West Rand area.
