About the role

We are looking for an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to join a well‑established FMCG manufacturing company in Cape Town. The role focuses on driving trade strategies, building strong relationships with distributors, and increasing market share for the brand’s product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute trade marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
Manage relationships with key trade partners and negotiate promotional activities.
Analyse market and sales data to identify growth opportunities.
Lead a team of trade marketing professionals and coordinate cross‑functional projects.
Monitor budget performance and ensure ROI on trade initiatives.

Required profile

Matric and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Business Management, Commerce or a related field.
7–10 years of trade marketing experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.
At least 3 years in a senior management or leadership role.
Proven experience with traditional trade channels.
