Tendering Coordinator

About the role

The Tendering Coordinator will support the Sales and Marketing department by managing tender processes, vendor onboarding and related documentation. This role reports to the Proposals Manager and ensures compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Register and capture tenders in Syspro, prepare submission documents and maintain vendor application records.
• Monitor tender portals such as National Treasury eTender, CSD portal and municipal systems for new opportunities.
• Compile weekly and monthly reports on order intake, lost sales and departmental expenditures.
• Update and verify company registration and compliance documents (CSD, COIDA, CIDB, B‑BBEE).
• Coordinate inputs from technical, SHERQ, procurement, legal and sales teams to ensure accurate tender files.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification with Office/Business Administration credentials; technical qualifications are a plus.
• 2–3 years experience in tender coordination and office administration.
• Strong time‑management, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with CRM systems (knowledge advantageous).
• Familiarity with Syspro tender registration platform.
