Commercial Claims Consultant – Bedfordview

Are you an organised, detail‑driven professional with a passion for insurance and client service? Our client, a reputable insurance brokerage based in Bedfordview, is looking for a Commercial Lines Claims Consultant to join their dynamic team. You will manage the end‑to‑end claims process, support brokers, liaise with insurers and ensure clients receive exceptional service from notification to settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full claims administration process for commercial lines (motor and non‑motor), ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance at every stage.
• Work closely with brokers to provide accurate claim updates and assist with client communication, while liaising with insurers and assessors to drive timely settlements.
• Maintain and update client portfolios, fleet lists, CRM records and shared Google Drive folders with current claims information, and compile regular reports for management.
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the claims system, identifying workflow optimisation opportunities.
• Stay up‑to‑date on insurance regulations, products and best practices through training and professional development.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the claims department and management as required.

Required profile

• Matric Certificate (essential) and FSCA compliance (essential).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial lines claims (motor and non‑motor).
• Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills.
• RE and NQF4 qualification highly advantageous.
