Temp Junior Accountant

About the role

This temporary three‑month position offers a finance professional the chance to work within a dynamic manufacturing environment, handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks while gaining exposure to audit processes and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate filing and record‑keeping of financial documents in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Process and monitor supplier credit requests.
• Assist with VAT‑related documentation, invoice management, and audit requirements.
• Support month‑end finance processes and reporting deadlines.
• Contribute to the review and improvement of internal controls and finance procedures.
• Provide administrative support to internal stakeholders and the finance department.
• Coordinate general office administration, including visitor arrangements, answering calls, and managing office supplies.
• Prepare audit files and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• 2–3 years experience in a similar finance or accounting support role.
• Matric/Grade 12 certificate or a relevant diploma.

What we offer

• Annual salary between R200,000 and R240,000.
• Three‑month fixed‑term contract with exposure to audit processes and broader finance operations.
