Telemarketer – Call Centre Sales Specialist

About the role

The Telemarketer will join a dynamic call‑centre team, handling policy switches, upsells and conversions for funeral and legal insurance products. You will also promote add‑on products and support various sales projects.

Key responsibilities

• Process policy and payment switches, upsells, and conversions between Funeral Plans and Legal Policies.
• Offer Occupational Specific Extender add‑on products to members.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for legal and funeral products.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to set weekly and monthly personal sales goals.
• Market Scorpion products using approved scripts and marketing materials.
• Accurately capture member and policy information, including payment details.
• Deliver required disclosures and summarize calls to confirm understanding.
• Maintain high quality and accuracy in all interactions and adhere to performance standards.
• Handle complaints respectfully and refer them to Team Leaders for resolution.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain product benefits clearly.
• Detail‑oriented with accurate data entry and record‑keeping.

Required skills

• Proficiency with call‑centre software and data entry tools.
• Ability to follow approved scripts and use marketing materials.
• Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, CRM basics).
