Technician Service Specialist (X3)

About the role

Motus Corporation is hiring three Specialist: Technician‑Service (X3) professionals for its Retail Division in Johannesburg South. This permanent, mid‑level role involves providing maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and direct customer support for automotive equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and technical repairs.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions using diagnostic tools and software.
• Assist customers with technical queries and concerns, providing on‑site support.
• Maintain accurate service and equipment records and train customers on proper equipment use.
• Follow company safety and service standards and stay up‑to‑date with product developments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a technical service role within the automotive sector.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client locations.
• Ability to work independently, flexible hours and overtime when required.

Required skills

• Use of diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Relevant technical certification or completed apprenticeship (advantageous).
