About the role
The Technician is responsible for delivering high‑quality repairs and maintenance on heavy‑duty vehicles, ensuring safety, on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction. The role combines technical expertise with a commercial mindset to support Scania’s profitability and road safety.
Key responsibilities
- Secure the correct information, tools and spare parts before each maintenance or repair event.
- Perform maintenance or repair tasks using established methods and standards, completing work safely and on schedule.
- Document work performed and communicate any follow‑up actions to minimise invoicing lead time.
Required profile
- Matric certificate (or N3) or equivalent.
- Qualified Diesel Technician with a Trade Test Certificate.
- Minimum three years of workshop experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles.
- Current employment in the present role for at least one year.
