Technical Trainer

About the role

Hikvision South Africa is seeking a Technical Trainer to design, deliver and manage training programmes that support the development of internal staff and external clients. The role focuses on product, operational and certification training for security‑technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Accept training targets from the department and ensure they are met.
• Develop and deliver a variety of training courses, including certificate and non‑certificate programmes, product training and operational training.
• Manage all training logistics such as venue booking, trainer coordination, evaluation arrangements and feedback collection.
• Operate and maintain the eLearning South Africa platform.
• Produce and localise training materials according to specific requirements.
• Act as a training consultant for clients and internal departments via email and phone.
• Build and empower a certified trainer team.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience with CCTV, access‑control or alarm systems.
• Own a reliable car for transport to training sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, engineering or a related scientific field.
• Ability to work independently, follow company policies and continuously improve skills.
