Technical Support L1 – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are looking for a Level‑1 Technical Support Engineer to join our growing offshore team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. The role is based in Cape Town and operates on UK business hours, offering a hybrid mix of remote and on‑site work.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and peripheral issues for laptops and desktops.
• Provide remote assistance via VPN/RDP and on‑site support when required.
• Configure devices for Azure AD, MFA and Office 365 environments and set up SharePoint/OneDrive sync.
• Respond promptly to support tickets, maintain clear communication and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Install operating systems, antivirus and productivity tools, and document all support activities.
• Generate performance reports and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer‑facing technical support or help‑desk role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals and VPN configuration.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure AD, MFA and Office 365 administration.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work UK business hours from Cape Town in a hybrid setting.
