About the role
We are seeking a driven Technical Sales Representative to service food manufacturers and supply them with bakery and other food ingredients. The ideal candidate has proven experience in the bakery industry, is technically competent, and can troubleshoot within a bakery environment.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and secure new business opportunities.
- Manage and nurture client relationships with food manufacturers.
- Upsell and cross‑sell existing product ranges.
- Achieve and exceed defined sales targets.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience servicing bakery or food manufacturers.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting sales goals.
- Ability to work independently and travel as required.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
Required skills
- Bakery equipment troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of bakery ingredients and production processes.
What we offer
- Base salary of R25 000 per month.
- Commission structure on sales performance.
