Technical Project Manager – Digital Products

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the delivery of innovative digital products from concept through launch and beyond. Based in South Africa, you will operate at the intersection of product strategy, design, engineering, and client leadership, ensuring complex initiatives stay on track.

Key responsibilities

• Lead agile product design and development initiatives, guiding end‑to‑end digital product delivery.
• Coordinate communication and collaboration across product, UX/UI design, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to establish project plans, clarify business objectives, and drive successful implementation.
• Own project scope, timelines, milestones, priorities, and delivery workflows while maintaining focus on client and business goals.
• Maintain organized product backlogs with clear acceptance criteria throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Engage directly with clients to manage expectations, account details, scopes, and long‑term relationships.
• Foster a collaborative environment that supports continuous improvement and sustainable delivery practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical or product project management, preferably within a digital product, software, technology, or agency environment.
• Proven experience delivering user‑centric software solutions across the full development lifecycle; mobile application experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage scopes, requirements, backlogs, and cross‑functional dependencies.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and the flexibility to adapt delivery approaches to changing priorities.
