Technical Manager – Operating Company I

About the role

We are seeking a senior Technical Manager for Operating Company I to lead the strategic direction of our fleet, tyre, maintenance and workshop operations. The role will drive continuous improvement in safety, digitisation and cost efficiency across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a medium‑term technical strategy, including fleet depreciation, replacement, disposal and carbon‑footprint reduction.
• Oversee workshop and tyre management systems, ensuring training and support for business units.
• Maintain the fleet asset register and provide accurate statistics and actionable insights to the Group Technical Steering Committee.
• Manage supplier relationships, SLAs and KPI performance, conducting monthly reviews and annual negotiations.
• Chair the Group Technical Steering Committee, setting KPIs and presenting performance reports.
• Evaluate new fleet performance, fuel consumption and support capital budgeting and AFE approvals.
• Conduct internal workshop audits, technical due diligence on acquisitions and manage the internal warranty fund.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical management within logistics, transport or fleet operations.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to produce detailed reports and trend analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including suppliers, OEMs and regulatory bodies.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
