Tech Officer – Monitoring & Surveillance

About the role

The Tech Officer – Monitoring & Surveillance provides first and second‑level support for monitoring systems across networks, SAP environments and servers. You will work closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure continuous service availability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network and server health using EMS, Cisco and Linux tools.
• Provide support to stores via automated ticketing and the customer contact centre, escalating anomalies promptly.
• Respond to client enquiries, resolve issues, and meet agreed SLA time‑frames.
• Track and report changes in the client environment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Adhere to company and client policies, procedures and governance standards.

Required profile

• National Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in monitoring and surveillance systems, preferably with EMS and SAP BI/ERP/CRM.
• Relevant certifications such as A+, N+, CCNA.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work full‑time on‑site.
