Tax Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Tax Advisor to join our Pretoria office. In this full‑time position you will be responsible for ensuring accurate tax reporting, compliance and strategic tax advice for our clients. The role demands strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to deadlines and a solid foundation in finance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file direct tax returns and related documentation.
• Calculate tax liabilities and manage tax payment processes.
• Interpret tax legislation and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct assurance reviews of complex tax returns.
• Monitor tax controls, compliance and SOX/K‑control environments.
• Identify tax‑related risks, escalate issues and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Finance qualification or equivalent academic background.
• Strong attention to accuracy and strict adherence to filing deadlines.
• Experience with tax compliance, reporting and risk identification.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a compliance‑focused team.
