Talent Acquisition Specialist – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end‑to‑end hiring for its fast‑moving, elite team. Working remotely across South Africa (and Latin America), you will act as both brand ambassador and talent scout, partnering directly with leadership to secure top talent in sales, design, development and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment cycle from intake calls with leadership to extending offers.
• Source and engage candidates across Latin America, South Africa and beyond.
• Deliver a seamless, respectful candidate experience that reflects Blacksmith’s standards.
• Assess candidates for skills, cultural fit and performance potential.
• Maintain a warm bench of freelance and full‑time talent to enable rapid hiring.
• Keep a clean, data‑driven pipeline in the ATS and keep hiring managers informed.

Required profile

• 2+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a tech, digital or creative agency.
• High accountability mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Global perspective comfortable with multiple time zones and cultures.
• Strong ATS proficiency and a passion for streamlined, automated workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
