Talent Acquisition Specialist – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

Bald is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to own end‑to‑end recruitment for a variety of roles across South Africa, the US and Europe. This remote position partners closely with hiring managers to shape hiring decisions that strengthen the team for the long term.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment cycles from briefing to offer, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role success criteria and assess both capability and cultural fit.
• Source and engage high‑quality candidates through multiple channels and build proactive talent pipelines.
• Conduct first‑round interviews, coordinate interview processes, and drive offers to acceptance.
• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System, monitor recruitment metrics, and identify process improvements.

• Excellent judgement to differentiate interview performance from true role fit.
• Curiosity and strong questioning skills to understand people deeply.
• Ownership mindset with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Clear, thoughtful communication that builds trust with candidates and hiring teams.

Required skills

• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
