Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support BDO’s People & Culture team by leading day‑to‑day sourcing activities and building strong pipelines of active and passive candidates. Working closely with P&C managers and hiring managers, you will design and execute sourcing strategies that align with the firm’s hiring needs and employer brand.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with P&C and hiring managers to define candidate briefs and sourcing plans.
• Identify and engage suitable candidates through multiple channels, including social media, professional networks and Boolean search.
• Draft and send recruiting communications, conduct first‑round interviews and manage employee referrals.
• Maintain and grow a talent pool for current and future hiring requirements.
• Track sourcing metrics, generate reports and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Promote BDO’s employer brand across platforms and create talent maps for strategic roles.
• Support job matching, benchmarking and provide industry intelligence.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition specialist with a strong focus on sourcing.
• Proven ability to work with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Boolean search techniques.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases.
• Experience using social media and professional platforms for recruitment.
• Familiarity with sourcing tools and technology.
