Talent Acquisition Specialist – Global Recruitment

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our partner’s global recruitment initiatives. Based in South Africa, you will source, engage, and hire independent contractors—primarily linguists—to meet diverse language needs across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and attract independent contractors from various regions according to language and business requirements.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
• Conduct interviews, assess language proficiency and overall suitability.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Support high‑volume hiring while preserving quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify staffing needs and hiring priorities.
• Perform market research and nurture relationships with potential candidates.
• Track recruitment metrics and evaluate sourcing effectiveness.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
• Proven ability to manage recruitment processes independently and juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organized with strong time‑management capabilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to meet deadlines and work autonomously.
• Willingness to work across different time zones.
