Swim Coach

About the role
AquaPark is seeking a full‑time Swim Coach to join its aquatics team in Pietermaritzburg. The coach will design and deliver swim lessons for participants of all ages and skill levels, fostering water safety and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, conduct and evaluate individual and group swim lessons.
- Assess swimmers’ techniques and provide personalized feedback.
- Maintain a safe environment by supervising sessions and enforcing water‑safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the aquatics team to ensure smooth operation of programs.
- Promote a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all participants.
Required profile
- Proficiency in swim instruction and swimming techniques.
- Experience in lifeguarding and water‑safety management.
- Ability to work with a wide range of ages and skill levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- First Aid and CPR certification is highly beneficial.
