Supply Chain Director

About the role

The Supply Chain Director will shape and execute a country‑wide supply chain strategy that drives operational efficiency, cost optimisation and sustainable growth. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead cross‑functional teams across manufacturing, logistics, procurement and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead long‑range capacity planning and capital investment projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Drive manufacturing and logistics excellence through standardised processes and asset utilisation.
• Integrate quality, safety, environmental (QSE) compliance into daily operations.
• Optimise total cost‑to‑serve, monitor KPIs and improve supply chain performance.
• Build a high‑performance team via talent development and capability programs.
• Establish risk mitigation and business continuity plans for supply chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align supply chain initiatives with overall business planning.
• Enhance demand forecasting and inventory management for balanced availability and cost efficiency.
• Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and improve energy efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Food Science.
• MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations or Business Management (preferred).
• 10+ years of leadership experience in operational or corporate supply chain roles.
• Proven experience managing manufacturing, logistics, procurement and sustainability functions.
• Track record of leading business transformation projects such as process automation and digital supply chain technologies.
