Supply Chain Administrator – Cross Border Exports

About the role

Sasol is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to manage the end‑to‑end cross‑border export process. The role ensures timely and accurate execution of approved export orders, full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and seamless coordination with customers, service providers, and banking institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the complete sales order cycle for road and rail exports, achieving 100% on‑time in‑full (OTIF) delivery of export documentation.
• Prepare and file all customs, excise, and shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, CTOs, Rules of Origin, and LC/credit guarantee paperwork.
• Maintain an audit‑ready filing system and generate monthly export performance reports.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, implementing corrective actions to improve the customer experience.
• Ensure strict adherence to Zero‑Rated VAT, exchange control, and Incoterms requirements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in international export logistics, preferably within a chemicals or energy environment.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, excise documentation, and LC/credit guarantee processes.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and compliance standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
