Strategic Partner Manager, Mobile & Connectivity Partnerships

About the role

Facebook is looking for a Strategic Partner Manager to grow mobile and connectivity partnerships across the Johannesburg mobile landscape, working with leading telco partners across Africa to develop mobile‑social experiences and drive faster internet adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and help drive the mobile partner strategy to support continued success.
• Support new partners through the launch process and liaise with Facebook.
• Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics.
• Serve as a trusted contact for Facebook’s key mobile application partners.
• Act as an internal and external advocate for mobile partners.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree.
• Significant recent experience in mobile industry partnerships.
• Creativity to identify opportunities and build compelling, mutually valuable propositions.
• Negotiation skills to navigate complex deals and understand legal language.
• Collaboration ability to work cross‑functionally with product, engineering, sales, operations, finance, marketing, and legal teams.
• Project management experience delivering large international, multicultural projects.
• Influence to pitch ideas effectively and engage relevant partners.
