About the role
The Storekeeper will manage the receiving, storage and issue of stock items for the Water and Sanitation Treatment Works. The role includes coding stock, monitoring fuel levels and handling transactional documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Executes specific applications associated with controlling the receiving, storage and issue of stock items.
- Coding stock received in accordance with control procedures and positioning items in the appropriate location.
- Checking fuel/diesel levels and communicating order requirements to the supplier for delivery.
- Performs specific tasks/activities associated with the functionality.
- Receiving and referring to approve transactional documentation (requisition order).
Required profile
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- 1 year relevant experience.
- Computer Literacy.
- 2 years relevant experience (preferred).
