About the role
The Store Manager will lead the Volpes store in Longbeach, Western Cape, working a 45‑hour week. This role is responsible for driving sales, managing expenses, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Drive turnover to achieve sales targets.
- Control expenses and manage stock losses to keep shrinkage within company standards.
- Recruit, develop, and manage staff, handling performance and employee relations.
- Execute in‑store merchandising strategy and maintain visual standards.
- Deliver customer satisfaction by implementing the company’s service strategy.
Required profile
- Matric certificate.
- Minimum 3 years retail experience, including at least 1 year in a store leadership role.
- Preference given to candidates from designated groups under the Employment Equity Act.
Required skills
- Builds customer loyalty and delivers excellent service.
- Effective presentation of solutions and compelling sales conversations.
- Negotiation, selling, and planning & organizing.
- Leadership behaviours such as action orientation, network building, and driving engagement.
