Store Manager – Retail (Western Cape)

About the role

The Store Manager will lead the Waterfront Store in the Western Cape, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and customers receive an exceptional experience. This full‑time, on‑site position reports directly to regional leadership and is responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and upholding brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all store activities, including opening and closing procedures.
• Schedule, supervise, and develop store team members.
• Maintain stock levels, coordinate merchandising, and enforce visual standards.
• Track sales performance, implement promotions, and manage cash handling and reporting.
• Enforce loss‑prevention policies and support security initiatives.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑performance work environment focused on targets and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with proven ability to engage shoppers.
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills for team leadership.
• Experience in retail management or supervision, preferably in apparel or footwear.
• Ability to analyse sales data, set targets, and drive results.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
• Competence in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
