Store Manager – 45 hrs/week – Tygervalley

About the role

The Foschini Group is seeking an energetic Store Manager for its American Swiss outlet in Tygervalley. Working 45 hours per week, you will lead the store team, drive sales performance and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Drive turnover to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Control expenses and manage stock losses to keep shrinkage within company standards.
• Recruit, develop and manage staff, handling performance and employee relations.
• Execute in‑store merchandising strategies and maintain visual standards.
• Deliver the customer service strategy to achieve high satisfaction.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience, including at least 1 year in a store leadership role.

Required skills

• Customer‑focused approach and strong service delivery.
• Ability to present solutions and manage sales conversations.
• Negotiation, planning and organizing capabilities.
• Leadership behaviours such as action orientation, network building and accountability.
