About the role
The Store Manager will lead the Totalsports outlet at Somerset Mall, driving sales performance and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This full‑time position oversees all store operations, from merchandising to staff development.
Key responsibilities
- Drive turnover to achieve sales targets.
- Control expenses and manage stock losses to keep shrinkage within company standards.
- Recruit, develop, and manage staff, handling performance and employee relations.
- Execute in‑store merchandising strategy and maintain visual standards.
- Deliver customer satisfaction by implementing the customer service strategy.
Required profile
- Matric certificate.
- Minimum 3 years retail experience, including at least 1 year in a store leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, motivate staff, and drive engagement.
- Strong focus on customer needs and ability to manage resistance and sales processes.
