Store Manager (45 hrs) – Bert Strauss – Queenstown

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our Queenstown outlet of The FIX Brand Trading. The role focuses on driving turnover, controlling expenses, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast‑moving retail environment. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the store meets its financial and service objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive turnover by implementing sales initiatives and achieving the store’s revenue targets while maintaining high standards of visual merchandising.
• Control operating expenses and manage stock losses, ensuring shrinkage remains within the company‑defined limits.
• Lead people management activities, including recruiting, training, developing staff, handling employee relations, and conducting performance reviews.
• Execute the in‑store merchandising strategy, ensuring product displays and layouts comply with brand standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction by applying the customer service strategy and promptly addressing customer needs.

Required profile

• Hold a Matric certificate as the minimum educational qualification.
• Possess at least three years of retail experience, with a minimum of one year in a store leadership position, demonstrating ability to manage a team and meet sales goals.
