About the role
We are looking for a Stockroom Associate to join our team at Paarl Mall. The role involves managing stock movements, supporting the sales floor and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide feedback to management regarding stock issues and movements.
- Drive the ultimate customer experience.
- Ensure sales targets are met.
- Manage receiving and dispatching of stock.
- Process stock within specified time frames.
- Facilitate efficient rotation of stock from the stockroom to the sales floor.
- Maintain world‑class neatness and housekeeping standards.
- Manage shrinkage in line with company standards.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
- Retail experience (essential).
- 2 years stockroom experience (advantageous).
- Hospitality background (advantageous).
Required skills
- Customer‑centric attitude and approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to give direction to the stockroom team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
