Stock Controller & Warehouse Logistics Specialist

About the role

A top‑tier technical supplier is seeking a meticulous, hands‑on Stock Controller to manage inventory, supply‑chain flow, and warehouse operations at its Lanseria facility. The role offers the chance to apply strong analytical abilities and advanced Excel expertise to drive process efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Track shipments, manage stock rotation (FIFO) and forecast demand to avoid overstock or stock‑outs.
• Enter purchasing details, invoices and pricing into the inventory management system.
• Conduct physical stock audits, reconcile variances and perform perpetual inventory checks.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify documentation, inspect quality and handle supplier returns or discrepancies.
• Operate a forklift to store, pick and transfer stock safely across departments.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse safety, cleanliness and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience as a Stock Controller, Warehouse Manager or Inventory Controller.
• Matric qualification with Higher Grade Mathematics (C+ or higher).
• Valid forklift licence or proven forklift operating experience.
• Strong leadership, high pressure tolerance, excellent organisational skills and acute attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Forklift operation (licensed).

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of R10,000 – R25,000 per month, negotiable based on experience.
