Stock Controller

About the role

Lumax Energy, a leading manufacturer of solar mounting and engineered structural solutions, is seeking a Stock Controller to ensure accurate inventory management across its warehouse. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a structured, process‑driven environment and takes ownership of stock accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and full stocktakes.
• Investigate and resolve variances, ensuring audit readiness.
• Control stock movements and verify ERP transactions for receipts, transfers, adjustments, picking, and dispatches.
• Monitor receiving and dispatch processes, enforcing bin discipline.
• Stop any stock movement or dispatch when documentation, quantities, or system records are incorrect.
• Prepare accurate stock, variance, and investigation reports in English.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• 3‑5 years of experience in stock control, warehousing, or inventory control, including cycle counts, full stocktakes, variance investigations, and audit readiness.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems for processing and reconciling stock transactions.
• Strong Excel capability (filters, formulas, lookups, pivot tables, stock reconciliations).
• Eligibility to work in South Africa and reliable transport for occasional after‑hours or weekend counts.
