Staff Nurse – Trichardt, Mpumalanga

An opportunity exists for a Staff Nurse to join the PathCare team at the Trichardt branch in Mpumalanga. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care, performing phlebotomy, and supporting pathology services while upholding the organisation's values of ethics and integrity.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nurse Certificate and registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Minimum of 2 years experience post‑SANC registration
• Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual transmission)
• Fluent in English with an understanding of Afrikaans
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Client‑focused with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities
• Compassionate, resilient and result‑orientated

Required skills

• Phlebotomy experience (essential)
• Pathology experience, including order of draw and use of Point‑of‑Care instruments such as Hemocue and Stratus
• Ability to run arterial blood gas analyses on dedicated machines
• Computer literacy; Meditech knowledge is advantageous
