Specialist, Commercial Asset Finance

About the role

This position sits within Liberty’s Commercial Asset Finance division and is responsible for driving sales performance by originating and managing asset‑based finance transactions. You will identify and secure new business opportunities across an allocated provincial portfolio while nurturing existing client relationships to generate further finance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement approved asset‑based finance transactions for new and existing customers.
• Manage an allocated provincial portfolio, covering diverse market segments and industries.
• Cultivate and maintain strong post‑sales relationships with clients.
• Proactively identify opportunities for additional asset‑based finance solutions.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to maximise client retention.
• Contribute to the overall growth and success of the CAF department.

Required profile

• First‑degree qualification in Business or Commerce.
• Successful completion of the RE5 regulatory examination.
• Minimum 3‑4 years experience in vehicle and asset finance.
• Proven track record in sales, service delivery and deal‑making.
• Experience managing relationships with dealerships.

Required skills

• Asset‑based lending knowledge.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical ability.
• Understanding of the financial industry regulatory framework.
• Competence in financial management of transactions.
• In‑depth knowledge of Liberty’s asset finance products and services.
