Special Events Assistant – Bloemfontein

About the role

The Special Events Assistant will support the Special Events Department in delivering roadshows, brand activations and promotional activities across Bloemfontein. Reporting to the Special Events Coordinator, you will ensure events are set up, staffed and broken down according to Coca‑Cola standards while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive, operate and maintain roadshow and delivery trucks for event logistics.
• Load, unload, count, reconcile and safeguard event stock, branding materials and promotional assets.
• Assist with event setup, branding installation, activation support and post‑event breakdown.
• Support consumer activation initiatives such as product sampling and experiential marketing.
• Ensure branding displays, signage and equipment comply with company standards.
• Follow SHEQ and safety procedures during all event activities.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional representation of the brand.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to varying event schedules.
• Attention to detail for stock reconciliation and asset compliance.
• Physical fitness for loading, unloading and event setup tasks.
