Solution Engineer

About the role

You will be embedded inside our customers’ toughest problems, owning the outcome from discovery through production. Working directly with executives, domain experts, and data teams, you will model business decisions, write PyRel code, and ship solutions that run on the customer’s Snowflake account.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery: discovery, modelling, implementation, performance tuning, production hardening, and measurement.
• Design and ship decision solutions using ontologies, rules, graph analytics, optimisation formulations, and predictive models.
• Identify platform gaps, build missing functionality, and contribute the generalized solution back to the product.
• Run technical discovery workshops, demos, and proofs of concept to validate feasibility.
• Document work promptly and turn one‑off implementations into reusable reference assets.

Required profile

• Thrive in ambiguity, take full ownership of outcomes, and act as the problem‑solver rather than a hand‑off participant.
• Prefer building prototypes over presentations; you show working code on real data.
• High conviction with low ego: argue ideas directly, adapt quickly to evidence, and keep discussions constructive.
• Comfortable navigating messy enterprise environments, handling broken data, security reviews, and political constraints.

Required skills

• Strong Python programming ability.
• Proficient SQL skills.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Redshift.
