Software Engineer

About the role

The Software Engineer will design, develop, and deliver high‑quality software systems that meet client expectations, adhere to budgets and schedules, and pass rigorous quality checks.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the software design process and produce design documentation.
• Receive user stories and bugs, break them into smaller tasks in RMTool/Redmine, and estimate effort.
• Design and implement features and functions for each sprint, ensuring delivery within set deadlines.
• Report issues, update progress in the scrum tool, and attend daily scrum meetings.
• Commit source code daily and collaborate closely with project managers on milestones, risks, and scope changes.
• Develop code based on approved designs, maintain an acceptable defect rate, and perform sanity checks before release.
• Manage configuration of software components, follow the build process, and ensure all dependencies are documented.
• Coordinate delivery stabilization, define critical software functions for RFQs, and verify overall software quality.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Eng in Computer Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle and modular, object‑oriented development.
• Experience developing in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of model‑based system engineering is advantageous.
• Proficiency in software documentation, reliability engineering, and product testability.

Required skills
