Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join an innovative AgriTech company in Cape Town. You will be responsible for building and maintaining modern web applications that support the agricultural technology ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Python.
• Implement front‑end features with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs that integrate with internal and external systems.
• Work with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver high‑quality software.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a developer in the Agricultural Technology industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (BSc Computer Science).
• Ability to provide verifiable references and recent payslips.
