About the role

FMG Digital is seeking a Social Ad Designer to create high‑volume static ad creative for multiple eCommerce brands. The role is fully remote, South Africa‑based, and focuses on performance‑driven design that captures attention instantly.

Key responsibilities

• Design static social ads for 8‑10 eCommerce brands, turning briefs into scroll‑stopping creatives quickly.
• Ensure each ad follows performance‑first principles: clear hierarchy, instant readability, and a strong hook.
• Maintain brand consistency while handling multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Leverage AI image and editing tools to produce more variants faster than traditional methods.
• Iterate rapidly on winning concepts to scale successful ads.
• Proactively improve executions beyond brief requirements.

Required profile

• 2+ years designing static paid‑social ads for eCommerce brands.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several brands without quality loss.
• Obsessive about design details and constantly seeks performance improvements.
• Performance‑oriented mindset, caring about conversion metrics as much as aesthetics.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AI creative tools for image generation and editing.
