Skills Development Facilitator (East Rand, Gauteng)

About the role

The Skills Development Facilitator will lead the end‑to‑end skills development function, reporting to the HR Executive. You will manage strategic planning, compliance reporting and stakeholder engagement to ensure the company meets its training and transformation objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct annual and ongoing training needs analyses with management and operational stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the annual training and skills development plan aligned with business priorities, Employment Equity and BBBEE targets.
• Coordinate, compile and submit Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) to SETA within deadlines.
• Maintain audit‑ready training records, attendance registers, invoices and certificates.
• Monitor implementation of WSP commitments, report progress and manage risks.
• Act as primary liaison with SETAs, identify grant opportunities and prepare grant applications and claims.
• Support learning interventions for designated groups, internal talent pipelines and succession planning.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and proactive professional with strong planning, administration and reporting abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and leadership skills.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
• Experience handling WSP/ATR submissions, SETA compliance, BBBEE evidence and learnership administration.
